Over The Weekend

We had a very fun weekend despite the frigid temperature on Saturday.  We took the subway out to Brooklyn (without the stroller!) to celebrate baby Hollan's 1st birthday!  The birthday boy was so cute in his little bow tie and sweater vest and ate his first cake like a total gentlemen.  And Hollan and Olin were adorable as they ate lunch together at Hollan's little table and off the same plate.  But I think perhaps the highlight of the party for Olin was meeting Bridget's Grandma June.  He would call out for June when they weren't together and she even fed him birthday cake.  June is the sweet lady that is holding Olin in many of the photos below.  It was a wonderful party and I think Olin would have stayed there all day if we had let him - thanks Bridget and Damon!

In addition to the excitement of the birthday party, Olin also had Indian food for the first time and he seemed to really like it.  He ate mostly naan and a potato samosa, but the key is that he ate.  It looks like we have another Olin approved restaurant that can go on our (tiny, but growing) list.
