Olin has been insisting on picking out his own clothes lately... honestly, I naively believed that only girls do that kind of stuff. And let me tell you, I don't know that this one has an eye for fashion (or matching). But it's hard to say 'no' when he proudly declares, once dressed, "it's so cute!"
Anyway, we spent much of our Sunday at home because Olin came down with a fever (ah, the school year has begun) and I had to share a few photos of the little number he chose to wear. Here he is playing a round of golf in our living room. I don't think Seventh Avenue is going to be calling anytime soon, but to me, it's so cute!
Meanwhile, our little lady practiced standing with Daddy. I swear, she is the strongest baby I have ever met. I feel like she was holding her head up after just a few weeks and we believe that she ripped off her own umbilical cord stub. And then on Friday, as I was changing her diaper, debating when and how I should remove her band-aids from her vaccines so not to hurt her too much, she reached down and pulled one right off her leg!
It wasn't all work for Miss Odette though, she also had plenty of cuddling time. Honestly, that husband of mine is the best daddy.
I need to keep this short and sweet, because it's a holiday and of course, Olin has the day off from school so I am in those precious few minutes when both babies are asleep so I better get some things done!
Happy Monday (and Columbus Day) everyone!
Oh, one more thing, this was the beautiful view of Central Park taken from our living room window yesterday. I can hardly wait to see those leaves change over the coming weeks!
