Even though the closing ceremony was a few days ago, we are still longing for the excitement of the Olympics around here. Part of this may have to do with the fact that we don't have cable this summer - really, I am not sure how many more reruns of The Big Bang Theory we can watch.
Anyway, thinking of the Olympics reminded me of this picture I had taken of Ernie in front of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube while I was in Beijing in March. I had brought Ernie to China with me to help with my homesickness and decided to take his picture at various places that we visited like the Great Wall and the Summer Palace with the plan to make it into a little book for Olin (which is still on the To Do list). Of all the photos I took of the little guy, this one is definitely one of my favorites.
Speaking of Ernie, Olin just can't stop himself from eating Ernie's hair today - poor little Ernie is going to be bald by bedtime! It's like there is a puppy around here chewing up everything in sight. I am starting to think we should have little mister tested for pica!
