I hate to speak ill of my beloved Instagram, but I found that although the photos look good on my phone and computer, if they are printed out any larger than wallet size, they aren't that great. And since wallet size photos really aren't compelling hung on the walls (although perhaps in scale with tiny NYC apartments), the photos are not the best for preserving our family memories. Plus, we have a nice (and expensive) SLR camera that has been collecting dust for too long so it really is time to learn how to use it. That is why this month I am taking a photography 101 class to be able to truly capture our little one who is way too cute to be featured in wallet size!

This is my personal favorite - I find it interesting that my guys are blurry, but the random man walking by and street background are in focus. I think we can all agree that Annie's career is safe for now.
