More From School

It was another successful day at school!  Today, he spent two hours with his class - I stayed for a half hour and left for the other hour and a half.  Apparently our little guy did just fine without me and had so much fun during snack time (bananas rolled in yogurt and then in Cheerios - yum!) that he was in his "back-up outfit" when I arrived to pick him up.  I have a feeling that I am going to be doing a lot of laundry this school year.

Funnily, while most parents probably worry about how their little ones will react when they drop them off, I worry about how Olin will react when he has to leave.  How embarrassing to have the child that cries when his parents come to pick him up!  Luckily for me, our little guy has been great when he is there, but also just fine with leaving when it's been time for us to go.  Fingers crossed that continues!

Here are a few more photos from yesterday (the last of them, I promise).  After his successful first day at school, we went up to Columbia for a celebratory lunch at Community with Daddy.  Then we went to Bank Street Bookstore to find a special book for our big boy (which we have since read over and over again).  We ended the day as we always do when we have reason to celebrate in the Burgher house... with a champagne toast!  Well, Josh and I had champagne and Olin enjoyed some "special water".
