A Night Out in the Big City

It's a sad day at the Burgher house today because grandpa and grandma left for the airport.  This place feels quiet and empty without them and although its only been a few hours since they left, we miss them already.

We will just have to think about all the fun we had including Saturday night when grandpa and grandma babysat so Josh and I could go out for a date night.  Josh and I had a wonderful night, but I think little Olin had an even better time.

At home playing with grandpa and grandma...

For our date, Josh and I ventured on to the subway for the first time since we've been back to the city and headed downtown...

We started with drinks before dinner at the cutest teeny tiny wine bar in the West Village called Vin Sur Vingt...

Then had dinner at Gradisca, where mama (pictured below) was actually making the tortellini that I ordered right in front of us... incredible...

We ended our evening with after dinner drinks and dessert at one of our favorite places, Otto...

NYC is truly one of the most romantic cities for a date night - thanks again grandpa and grandma for watching little mister!
