Little Odette had her first check-up last Friday and yes, we are crazy enough to take the camera with us. The doctor said that she looked great and that she was already putting on a good amount of weight.
This morning we had her re-check and she weighed in at a whopping 8 pounds 6 ounces. Her doctor said that they look for babies to regain the weight they inevitably lose in those early days and be up to their birth weight by 2 weeks. Our little eater surpassed her birth weight in a week so he was very pleased.
Olin's cold is still hanging on so we are still trying to keep them as separate as possible. It will be a miracle if Odette doesn't end up with this cold because now I'm starting to feel the early symptoms of a cold coming on!
