I'm a little behind on posting pictures because it's been just too much fun staring at our little girl that it's been hard to pull myself away to look at my computer screen for even a few minutes!
A lot of you have asked how Olin has done with our new addition and I am happy to report that true to his little personality, he has mostly embraced having a new baby around. He loves to smell her, kiss her, hug her and point to her body parts and tell us what they are. He also loves to say her name and says it over and over again throughout the day. He has needed a little more attention from Josh and me and has been a little more sensitive than usual, but other than that, he has done great.
Here are some photos of Olin meeting Odette for the first time in the hospital last Wednesday after school. Josh and Olin stopped at the bakery on the way over to pick up a cake for a little birthday celebration for Odette in our hospital room and Odette, being the sweet girl that she is, even got Olin a present - his very first digital camera! He loves that camera and uses it primarily to take pictures of Odette and then he turns the camera around to show us the photo he has just taken (although his camera doesn't have a display) and says "it's cute!"
We really are proud of our little guy and the way he has embraced this big life change for our little family. Odette is a very lucky girl to have such a sweet and loving big brother and I just know that these two sweet souls will be the best of friends.
